Meloidogyne javanica induced proteinase inhibitor I gene expression in host tissues at different days post infections. Housekeeping gene actin gene was used to normalize expression of genes of interest. Relative gene expression was calculated biological replicates using the 2^△△Ct method and uninfected (control) values were subtracted from infected values.
