Activities of ROS scavenging enzymes in Nβ and Sβ plants under non-stress and UV-B stress conditions. We measured the activities of antioxidant enzymes, A peroxidase (POD), B superoxide dismutase (SOD), C catalase (CAT), and D ascorbate peroxidase (APX), in seedlings of Nβ and Sβ plants. The means with different letters are significantly different (P < 0.05) within the same treatment. Lines with asterisks indicate significant differences between non-stress and UV-B stress conditions of the same plants (Nβns vs. Nβuvs and Sβns vs. Sβuvs), as determined by Student’s t test (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01)
